Monsoon to spread its wings across Delhi soon

Hot and humid weather conditions are prevailing across Delhi and NCR. Even today, hot and sultry weather conditions are likely to prevail, though the sky may remain partly cloudy. However, chances of thundershowers over a few parts of the city cannot be ruled out but night will remain warm and uneasy.

Meanwhile, some relief from this hot and uneasy weather is expected June 27 onward. Thereafter, good rain and thundershower activities are expected on June 28 and subsequent days. The wait for the arrival of Southwest Monsoon will finally be over as this spell of rain will bring the Southwest Monsoon over Delhi region and adjoining areas towards the end of this month.

As per Skymet weather, the low pressure over North West Bay of Bengal which is likely to move west-northwestwards. Due to this, humid easterly winds will get prominent and start affecting the Delhi weather from June 28 onwards. Later, the weather system will get weaker but as Monsoon will take over rains over the region will be a normal affair.

At present, the temperatures are scorching high but due to the upcoming rain and thundershower activities weather is likely to become pleasant and the mercury level will dip down. So it's good news for the Delhiites as Monsoon is making their way.
