Hyderabad has been receiving on and off light rains and heavy showers remained far from Telangana and its capital city.

For instance, the last 48 hours were not very different for the state capital as only traces of rainfall were witnessed over the region. In fact, these traces of showers also stayed patchy in nature as a result most parts of the region continued to reel under dry weather.

These odd conditions across Telangana and Hyderabad can be attributed to the absence of any major weather system in the vicinity of the region and its adjoining. Moreover, not only Southwest Monsoon overdue its arrival over Telangana and Hyderabad by 2 days, also till now it has not shaded much activity over the area. As of now, Monsoon remained weak over the area.

According to Skymet Weather, the situation is likely to remain the same for the next few days as no weather system is expected to develop in the proximity that may pour good showers over the region. However, Hyderabad and Telangana will continue to record light or traces of rainfall which could be entirely attributed to localized phenomenon.

July is considered as the rainiest month for the Biryani city, as its monthly average rainfall stands at 179.2 mm, but owing to the current weather situation, it seems hard that the city will surpass its average rainfall. But if rain gods bequeathed their blessing with some heavy showers, there are possibilities that the city may surpass its mean.
