Monsoon to go relentless over Madhya Pradesh again

Madhya Pradesh is one such state in the country which is usually known for its history, architecture and dry weather throughout the year. But this year, the weather gods have blessed the region with some continuous incessant rainfall.

At present, West Madhya Pradesh is rainfall surplus by 46% whereas East Madhya Pradesh is rainfall surplus by 27%.

Now the weather system that is expected to give good rains over the state is a well-marked low-pressure area. This weather system weakened from a depression that persisted over Jharkhand and adjoining areas. This system will gradually move towards most parts of Northern and Central parts of the state.

The Monsoon rains are expected to come back again over the state of Madhya Pradesh. The intensity of these rains is expected to be active and may be vigorous in parts of Northeast Madhya Pradesh.

 

In the last 24 hours active Monsoon was observed in North and Central parts of the state. This upcoming weather system in the state will bring hefty rains that may cause flooding like conditions. Sidhi in Madhya Pradesh received 64 mm of rains, while Indore received 13 mm of rains and Hoshangabad received 32 mm of rainfall.

At present, West Madhya Pradesh has received 757.3 mm of rains against the normal rainfall of 519.2 mm of rainfall. And East Madhya Pradesh has received 800.4 mm of rainfall against the normal of 629.7 mm of rains from June till now.
