After a long delay of around 15 days, Monsoon had finally reached Bihar on June 25. However, the state Uttar Pradesh is still waiting for the arrival of Monsoon, but it seems that this wait will also be not too long now.

According to Skymet Weather, we expect Monsoon to reach east Uttar Pradesh in the next 24 hours.
Now, as the MJO, which is one of the Monsoon drivers, has also entered the active phase, therefore we expect rapid progress of Monsoon over Uttar Pradesh as well.
Light to moderate rain and thundershower activities are possible over many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar for the next two to three days. By June 29, we expect Monsoon to cover entire Uttar Pradesh.
The day temperatures which are settling above 40 degrees Celsius over many parts of Uttar Pradesh and few places of Bihar would now witness a significant drop. As per weathermen, maximum temperatures would settle in mid-30s in the next couple of days.
Places like Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Gorakhpur, Allahabad, Lucknow, Kanpur, Bahraich, Bareilly will receive good rainfall activity during the coming days.
Thus, we can say relief from ongoing warm weather conditions is expected. In fact, several parts would see pleasant weather conditions over both the states.
