Month of August was almost dry for western parts of Rajasthan and most parts of Gujarat. But excess rainfall in the month of September turns out to be a blessing for both the states. Good Gujarat region ended in normal range category will a with a deficiency of 15%. Saurashtra and Kutch remained excess by 24%. West Rajasthan ended with 20% and East Rajasthan with the excess of 16%.
Withdrawal of monsoon has already delayed. Normal date for the commencement of withdrawal from western part of Rajasthan is September 17. Rain activities are going on over parts of Rajasthan and isolated pockets of Gujarat. Weather of Gujarat will go almost a dry barring isolated pockets south Gujarat surcharge Surat, Navsari and Valsad.
There may be scattered rain over Southeast and northwest parts of Rajasthan during next to 24 to 48 hours. Thereafter, monsoon will start withdrawing due to formation of an anticyclone over a Rajasthan.
Most probably by October 6th, monsoon will commence withdrawal from Rajasthan. Simultaneously rain activities will stop over Gujarat as well. Day temperatures of Rajasthan and Gujarat may increase marginally due to dry and sunny weather conditions. albeit minimum temperatures may fall leading to pleasant morning and night.
