The Plains of North India including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan have not seen a great month of August in terms of rains. During the fag end of August and the beginning of September, rains invariably take a dip over North India and it prepares for weakening of Monsoon and its subsequent withdrawal as well which takes place around the mid of September.
We do not expect much of rains in teh coming week over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan. Today, very light rains may be seen, mostly fleeting showers and similar conditions may be seen for next few days.
However, around August 29, some rainfall activity even going up to moderate in places may be seen over South Haryana, Delhi, and East Rajasthan. Similar pattern may be seen on August 30.
On August 31, rains will remain confined to the eastern parts of Rajasthan. Punjab on the other hand may see very little rain and nothing significant is expected during this time.
