Further, light to moderate showers with isolated heavy Monsoon rains are expected for the next two to three days. In fact, Hyderabad will also continue to witness good rains. As per Skymet Weather, these rains would be attributed to a cyclonic circulation which is over South Chhattisgarh and adjoining regions.
However, Rayalseema will continue with subdued rainfall activities only. The sky conditions will remain cloudy to over cast.
As on July 5, Telangana is rain deficit by 4 percent. With these rains, the deficiency is likely to reduce. In fact, Coastal Andhra Pradesh is rain surplus by 9 percent which is expected to increase more. Meanwhile, 3 percent rain deficiency of Rayalaseema is not likely to improve. These hefty showers are also going to be beneficial for the sowing of paddy crops.
