The rainfall activities have significantly decreased in most parts of Maharashtra. However, some good showers were observed along the coastal belt. Mumbai rains also occurred with light intensity only. As the rains remained on the lower side in most parts of Maharashtra, the temperatures have also increased in Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada.
In the last 24 hours, from 8:30 am on Friday, Vengurla has recorded 68 mm of rainfall, followed by Ratnagiri 35 mm, Mahabaleshwar 13 mm, Jalgaon 12 mm and Dahanu 7 mm of rainfall.
At present, the West Coast Trough is running from South Konkan to North of Kerala. While no significant system is present across the interior parts of Maharashtra. While scattered rains are likely in parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha as well as Marathwada, during the next 24 to 48 hours.
