Monsoon period proved to be very good for Telangana including Hyderabad. Monsoon also made an onset over the state on time. As per Skymet Weather, Hyderabad has been receiving continuous rainfall since June 2 barring 3-4 days. In fact, the capital city of Hyderabad has already surpassed its monthly average rainfall of 111.2 as till now, the city has recorded 159.8 mm of rain.
However, Monsoon rains are set to reduce over the state including Hyderabad. Though rains will once again pick up pace by June 25 but the weather of Telangana will not go completely dry till then.
During the next few days, scattered Monsoon rains will continue over the region. At present, Telangana is the rainiest state in South Peninsular region with a surplus of 98%.
In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Monday, Hyderabad received light rain of 3.2 mm and Hanamkonda 22 mm.

The month of June has been turning out good for Hyderabad including Telangana in terms of rainfall and we expect that June will end on a large excess note. First week of July is also expected to witness few good spells of rain.
These rains are very beneficial for the sowing of Kharif crop as these rains will help the farmers for timely sowing.
Temperatures across the state including Hyderabad settling in the lower 30’s. These comfortable weather conditions are likely to prevail for the next few days.
