The off shore trough extending along the West Coast from South Gujarat to Kerala has activated again and at present, the Monsoon surge is also active, paving way for good rainfall.
This trough will fuel the moisture levels in the atmosphere, leading to formation of rainy clouds. Owing to this, along with west coastal regions, the interior parts of Karnataka may also see intensification in rainfall activity, mostly over South Interior Karnataka including the city of Bengaluru.
