The entire state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have not recorded a good amount of rains during the month of September. Whereas the other regions of South Peninsular India have recorded some spells. Though the northern regions of these two states have been experiencing light to moderate Monsoon showers since last few days.
In a span of last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Friday, the state capital of Telangana recorded 11.1 mm of rainfall, followed by Cuddappah at 24 mm, Ramagundam 15 mm, Ongole 13.3 mm, Nizamabad 7 mm and Tirupati 6.4 mm.
These weather conditions can be attributed to a cyclonic circulation which has formed over Vidarbha and adjoining areas. Another cyclonic circulation can be marked over Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh Coast. Therefore, due to these weather systems, the intensity of rains are likely to pick up the pace again over parts of North Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Places such as Vishakapatnam, Srikakulam, Vijayanagara, and Khammam will settle with good Monsoon rains and thundershower.
