Good rain and thundershower activities have been going on in Telangana for the last two to three days. In the last 24 hours as well, moderate showers were recorded in many parts of the state. And we expect Monsoon rains to intensify further.
A Cyclonic Circulation is currently over South Chhattisgarh and adjoining Odisha and is expected to move in the southwest direction. In fact, the system is already tilting southwestwards with extending heights. Thus, we expect, rainfall activities to increase over Telangana and good rains to continue for the next two to three days.
Places like Adilabad, Hanamkonda, Ramagundam, Bhadrachalam, Medak would be the ones to witness moderate showers for the next few days. Heavy showers may even lead to waterlogging in many parts of the state.
The capital city Hyderabad is also in all probability going to receive moderate to heavy Monsoon rains for another 24 to 48 hours.
As we are about to move into August we expect the month to start on a rainy note as back to back Low-Pressure Areas are likely to form in the Bay of Bengal.
In the wake of these weather activities, the rainfall deficiency in the state is certainly going to observe a drop.
