Since last few days, due to the presence of Monsoon surge over the state, Telangana also including the capital city Hyderabad has been receiving light Monsoon showers. Few other areas such as Ramagundam and Medak have also been observing light rains. But a few good spells to make their way towards Hyderabad is still awaited.

In a span of last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Friday, the capital city, Hyderabad recorded 4.1 mm of rainfall and Ramagundam 6 mm. These weather conditions can be attributed to a trough which is seen extending along the East Coast. Due to this, light rain and thundershowers are expected to continue over some parts of Telangana including Hyderabad during the next 24 hours.
