Yesterday’s rain over Ahmedabad can be attributed to the low-pressure area over Saurashtra and Kutch and adjoining North Arabian Sea. Due to this, moisture incursion has increased over the region resulting in cloud development leading to rainfall.
In fact, even today, the city did witness a few good spells of rain during the early afternoon hours leading to pleasant weather.

These weather conditions will persist for some more time which is why we expect moderate showers with heavy spells at one or two places for at least the next 48 hours.
Thereafter, intensity of showers may decrease but on and off rains will continue and temperatures will remain in the lower 30s. Cloudy weather conditions and less humidity over the region will result in pleasant weather over this Gujarat city.
