We expect heavy rainfall activity to be seen over the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh as well as Telangana today and tomorrow. Moreover, some parts have seen rains in the past 24 hours as well.
Thereafter, after a gap of 24 hours, these shifting rains will also be seen over South and Central Gujarat along with the southern parts of Rajasthan.
These rains will be attributed to a few features. One of them being the remnant of the earlier system as a Cyclonic Circulation. An east west trough is running from this system up to Gujarat across the central parts.
Rains will vacate after about two days from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana. Gujarat, Rajasthan meanwhile will continue to see rains. Complete relief is expected by July 24th over the entire region.
