As per Skymet Weather, we expect rains to increase over Bihar in the next 24 hours. Initially, the rain intensity will increase over the eastern parts of Bihar and will gradually cover the entire state. Places such as Bhagalpur, Katihar, Kisanganj, and Supaul may receive scattered rains.
Thereafter, we expect light to moderate intensity rains at many places of Bihar. Intensity will further increase between October 1 and October 3. Adjoining eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh will also record isolated light Monsoon rains. Cities such as Allahabad, Varanasi, Ballia, Gorakhpur and Sidharth Nagar may receive light rains.
These upcoming rains and thundershowers can be attributed to the axis of Monsoon trough that is currently running through East India.

As on September 26, West Uttar Pradesh is rain deficient by 30 percent, East Uttar Pradesh by 27 percent and Bihar by 8 percent rains. These light showers over Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will not make any major impact on the rain deficiency. The temperatures will also not reduce marginally, however, a slight drop may be witnessed.
