At present, intense lightning and thunderclouds can be seen over several parts of the state and rains are likely to begin anytime soon.

According to Skymet Weather, places like Araria, Arwal, Aurangabad, Banka, Begusarai, Bhabua, Bhagalpur, Bhojpur, Gaya, Jamui, Jehanabad, Katihar, Khagaria, Kishanganj, Lakhisarai, Madhepura, Munger, Muzaffarpur, Nalanda, Nawada, Patna, Purnia, Rohtas, Saharsa, Samastipur, Saran, Sheikhpura, Supaul, and Vaishali may see rains of varying intensity during Saturday afternoon.

According to Skymet Weather, a fresh cyclonic circulation has developed over North Bay of Bengal. This system has also pulled the trough that has been running across the foothills of Himalayas and is now running through Indo-Gangetic plains.
In addition to this, a north-south trough is also extending from East Bihar till North Andhra Pradesh coast, which will further enhance the weather activity.
Due to this, moderate rains and thundershowers with isolated heavy spells are likely during the next 24 hours. Moreover, active Monsoon conditions are likely to prevail over Bihar for the next 2-3 days.
With these rains in offing, comfortable weather conditions are likely to persist during the day but evenings and mornings will be pleasant.
