Good rains may be seen in some parts of Rajasthan and will be mostly limited to East Rajasthan initially. Today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, rainfall will not be widespread and isolated moderate rains can be seen.
However, between August 7 to 9, East Rajasthan including Jaipur, Dholpur, Bharatpur, Alwar, Ajmer, Sikar, Boondi, Kota and adjoining areas will see some good rainfall activities. West and North Rajasthan may see some good spells of rains after a while, which is around August 10 onward.
These rains will be attributed to multiple features. The Monsoon Trough, which is lying north of its normal position and the upcoming system in Bay will bring it down, giving rains over Rajasthan.
