Bangalore rains have been behaving in the best possible manner for the past few days. In fact, since June 5, there hasn’t even been one day when the silicon city has not received rains. Also, weather conditions continue to remain pleasant over the city.
During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, Bangalore recorded a good 14 mm of rains. The maximum temperature is currently settling at 29.9 degrees which is about one degree below the normal levels. On the other hand, minimum temperature has been normal.
April was the hottest month for Bangalore as very little rainfall was witnessed during the entire month. In fact, the maximum temperature soared to an extent that it happened to be the highest in many years. However, as May crept in, the city did receive some rains resulting in some relief from the weather conditions.
As the month of June began in Bangalore, good rains were observed. So much so that the city recorded 20 mm of rain on the first day of the month. Southwest Monsoon made an onset over Bangalore on June 9, since then the city has been receiving on and off patchy rains.
During the next few days, light and patchy rains will continue over Bangalore. However, around June 20, the city will receive a good spell of rains which will result in a dip in temperatures even further.
