All thanks to a low pressure area marked over Saurashtra region and a cyclonic circulation off Saurashtra and Kutch region. A trough is also running from this system to Bay of Bengal across Ahmedabad. With the combined effect of these weather systems, good rains are already pounding over many areas of the state including its capital city, Gandhinagar and nearby district of Ahmedabad.

Today as well, Ahmedabad will see few good spells of rain. Light to moderate rains will continue over the capital city, Gandhinagar. With these constant showers, the weather conditions have flicked from hot and humid to pleasant.

Today, Modi ji will attend the dedication of water supply schemes based on Vatrak, Mazum and Meswo Dams at Modasa. Thereafter, he will inaugurate the Textiles India 2017 Summit during the afternoon. Further, during the evening, he shall inaugurate the integrated sports and entertainment Arena Project.
