As predicted by Skymet Weather, Hyderabad continued to witness Monsoon rain for the third consecutive day on Friday. All thanks to the Cyclonic Circulation marked over West Central Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh coast.

Sky conditions have been mainly cloudy since morning hours. However, as the mercury increased and with an abundance of moisture in the atmosphere, it led to the formation of convective clouds over Hyderabad during the late afternoon hours. As a result, many areas of Hyderbad recorded rains of varying intensity.

The cyclonic circulation has already given moderate to heavy rains have occurred over coastal Andhra Pradesh and northern Telangana during the last 24 hours. Hyderabad has recorded 15 mm of rains in the span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Thursday.

Weathermen are predicting moderate to heavy Monsoon rains over many parts of Telangana and North coastal Andhra Pradesh for another 24 hours. To be precise, moderate showers are expected over Hyderabad today.

Thereafter, the rain intensity will reduce but some good spells of rains are expected to continue and would remain confined to northern districts of Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Southern districts of Telangana including Hyderabad and Coastal Andhra Pradesh may receive light rains only.

Although there would be a break but a brief one as we expect Monsoon to revive around August 7 or 8. Until then, subdued Monsoon will remain subdued with on and off light rains and one or two moderate spells in between. Temperatures may increase marginally after 24 hours, due to decreased rain activities.
