The incessant Bangalore rains have finally taken a break from its heavy downpour and this break is likely to be there for the foreseeable future. As of now the city will continue to receive light to moderate rain with few heavy spells. This activity is expected to decrease gradually.
As far as the weather system that was giving good rains over the city has moved away to north. The cyclonic circulation which was over Rayalaseema and adjoining areas has now moved away and now seen close to Telangana and adjoining Karnataka.
Due to the cyclonic circulation, the rainfall activity over South Karnataka and Bangalore was vigorous since the past 4 days. The city received a whopping 135 mm of rainfall.
But as of now the weather system is losing its intensity the rainfall activity over Bangalore has decreased significantly.
In the last 24 hours, the city has received 2 mm of rainfall. However rain and thundershower will occur across the city and a rise in temp is also expected. As of now the city is rainfall excess by 113%.
