Bihar was one of the rain deficient state till last week. However, due to the northward shifting of eastern end of the axis of Monsoon trough, along with low-pressure area over central parts of Uttar Pradesh.
Rains have revived over Uttar Pradesh since last three to four days. Moderate to heavy rains occurred in many parts of the state, leading to water logging in many districts. Local flooding was also recorded.
