Conditions are becoming favourable for further advancement of Monsoon over parts of South Gujarat, many parts of Maharashtra, some parts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, parts of East Bihar and Jharkhand in the next 2 to 3 days.

Rain activities have already intensified over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha and parts of Telangana. Southern parts of Gujarat have also witnessed few good spells of rain. East India, particularly Bihar and Jharkhand have been witnessing light scattered rains.

Now, Pre Monsoon activities will intensify over eastern parts of the country. Many parts of West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand will witness moderate rains with few heavy spells by June 15 or 16.
