Moderate to heavy rain has been predicted at a few places along the foothills of Himalayas in  Assam  and Arunachal Pradesh in northeast region.
Another branch of monsoon trough is passing through Motihari,  Bhagalpur , Behrampore, Canning and then southeastwards to  north Bay  of  Bengal . This will increase rain in north Bihar, sub-Himalayan  West Bengal  in the east during the next two to three days.
