In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Tuesday, Adilabad witnessed heavy rain to the tune of 94 mm and Ramagundam witnessed light rain of 5 mm. Meanwhile, Hyderabad failed to record any rainfall activity. Further, weather conditions are still conducive for many places of the state such as Adilabad, Nizamabad, Ramagundam to receive to moderate to heavy Monsoon showers.

In the same span of time, moderate spells also expected over Hyderabad for the next two days. Thereafter also, we expect scattered light to moderate Monsoon showers to continue at many places till September 17 to 19.

It is anticipated that the rain deficiency will decrease further and these rains will give a boost to Rabi crop. These Monsoon rains will be attributed to a cyclonic circulation which is expected to develop over Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh. Besides this, a trough is expected to extend up to Interior Karnataka.

Weather will be warm but the ongoing discomfort level from increased humidity will come down. The maximum and minimum temperatures will also settle around their normal values.
