On and off good rains have been blessing the state of Rajasthan from last many days. In fact, the fag end of the week has seen some really good spells that occurred in varied intensity over many parts of the state.
Despite the fact that Monsoon has just entered the desert state of the country today, Rajasthan stands at a rain surplus state. As on June 26, West Rajasthan is rain surplus by 84% while East Rajasthan is 7% rain surplus. The last 24 hours also bought in pretty good spells over most districts of the desert state. And the weathermen predict that these rains are here to stay for a few more days.

In the last 24 hours, Udaipur received heavy spells of 54 mm that makes it count in the top ten rainiest cities of the country as on Tuesday. It was followed by Barmer 46 mm, Churu 22 mm, Sawai Madhopur 21 mm, and Chittorgarh 16 mm while the pink city, Jaipur recorded 12 mm of rains.
In fact, light to moderate rain and thundershowers with moderate to strong gusty winds are likely to occur at a few parts over Alwar, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Churu, Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Jaipur, Jhunjhunun, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Kota, Sirohi, Tonk and Udaipur anytime now.
A cyclonic circulation persists over Southwest Rajasthan and adjoining Pakistan. Moreover, a trough is also seen extending from West Rajasthan to the Bay of Bengal. As per Skymet Weather, these two weather systems fueled in good rains to pour over many parts of the state and these rains are anticipated to continue lashing the state.

Monsoon has marked its arrival over South Rajasthan and in the wake of this, rains will keep on showering upon a few districts of the state. In a nutshell, it can be said that by the end of June month, almost the entire Rajasthan is expected to get enveloped under good rains as Monsoon is likely to cover almost the entire East Rajasthan also summing up few parts of West Rajasthan as well.
