Pune has been experiencing scattered light rains since last many days. Though in between the city was dry for one or two days as well.
During last 24 hours from 08:30 am on Tuesday,Punehas recorded a total of 5.5 mm of rain. Monthly average rains for the month of June that the city usually observes is 116 mm. However, it is much lesser than the rainfall recorded in the coastal areas. Mumbai observes a monthly average rainfall of 523.1mm.
Although as per Skymet Weather, light rains are expected to continue for another 24 hours. Thereafter, rain in Pune is likely to pick up pace from July 2 onwards and is expected to continue till July 5.
However, heavy rains are still not expected in the city for next 8 to 10 days but few moderate spells cannot be ruled out. Irrespective of not much heavy rains in the city, the temperature of Pune is still likely to remain low.
The maximum daily is expected to be settling not more than 25°C while the minimum will remain confined to lower 20’s. Hence it can be concluded that Pune will be experiencing pleasant weather throughout the next week. Weather foreseen for next 4 to 5 days will be partly cloudy sky with intermittent rains.
