“We do not see any significant weather systems approaching Northwest India for the next few days. In fact, Western Disturbances have now become feeble in nature. With this, we expect weather to be dry over the entire Northwest India including Delhi-NCR during the leftover days of the month”, said Mahesh Palawat, Chief Meteorologist, Skymet Weather.
According to weathermen, an anti-cyclonic circulation is also likely to form over Rajasthan, due to which northwesterly winds will start blowing over the region. These winds will be dry in nature and thus, humidity will now reduce significantly. This will also mark the commencement of withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from Northwest India.
However, mercury will now rise steeply across Delhi-NCR. With this, we can expect afternoons to be warm but days and nights will be extremely pleasant.
