The national capital had been reeling under warm and dry weather conditions since past many days. The reason for the prevalent weather situation can be attributed to the absence of any major weather system over and around the region.
The month of September remained mostly dry for Delhi and NCR, excluding few occasions when the region witnessed good showers.

Now the Southwest Monsoon has come to an end and the withdrawal line is passing through Northeast Arabian Sea, Gandhinagar, Shivpuri, Agra and Uttarkashi. In wake of this, no significant change is anticipated in the current weather conditions.
In addition to this, due to establishment of anti-cyclone over Rajasthan and Gujarat region and in absence of any active Western Disturbance, dry winds will prevail over Delhi and its adjoining regions of Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad and Ghaziabad.

Thus, the residents of these mentioned areas will witness dry and warm weather, but the humidity levels will remain on the lower end.
Consequently, morning and evenings are likely to be smoke hazy increasing the pollution levels but night will be comfortable with minimum temperatures around 23-25 degrees. On the other hand, maximum temperatures will settle in the range of 36-37 degrees, thus leading to warm days.
