Moderate showers to bestow upon East Coast of India

It has been raining over the East Coast of India since last 2-3 days. Mainly light rains have been occurring over the East Coast of India that includes Andhra Pradesh coast including north Tamilnadu coast, Telangana, Odisha along with adjoining Chhattisgarh and extreme southern parts of West Bengal.

As per Skymet weather, the cyclonic circulation over west central bay off the Andhra Pradesh coast has moved northwards. This weather system can be presently seen over Andhra Pradesh and adjoining South Odisha coast.

In the wake of this weather system, most parts of East coastline of India has received light spells. In a span of 24 hours from 08:30 am on Monday, Vijayawada and Kavali in coastal Andhra Pradesh have witnessed light spells of 6 mm and 7 mm respectively.

As of now, the system is seen tilting southwestwards with height. Due to which rainfall mainly light in nature is likely to occur over most regions of the East Coastline.

However, scattered rain and thundershowers are also expected to continue in most parts of Andhra Pradesh coast including north Tamilnadu coast, Telangana, Odisha along with adjoining Chhattisgarh and extreme southern parts of West Bengal.

As per the weatherman, possibility of isolated moderate spells over some parts are also foreseen. Talking about the weather conditions, it is expected that the region may witness mainly cloudy weather and humid conditions.
