Moderate rainfall activity was observed over North Andhra Prdaesh Coast during the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, light to moderate rains were observed over remaining parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh including Rayalaseema region.
In the last 24 hours from 08:30 am on Saturday, Kakinada recorded 7 mm of rain, followed by Ramagundam 8 mm, Koraput 22 mm. while, rest many places witnessed trace of rain.

At present there is no significant system around these states, but strong westerly winds are prevailing over the area. Moreover, a depression is seen persisting over West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand.
An upper level trough is seen extending up to South Odisha Coast. As this system is likely to move further westwards, the effect of this trough will be less over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Therefore, we expect moderate rains in parts of extreme northern parts of Telangana and rest parts of Telangana will witness scattered light rainfall activity.
Temperatures may rise marginally over the region and comfortable weather conditions will prevail over these areas. However, Andhra Pradesh Coast may receive short spells of light and isolated light rains are likely over Rayalaseema.
Places such Hyderabad, Khammam, Kurnool and Anantapur will receive only light rains. Meanwhile, Adilabad and Ramagundam may receive moderate rains.
