A series of weather systems would bring in more rains for Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, and Dewas during the next two days.

One after the other Low-Pressure Areas or Cyclonic Circulations are moving across Madhya Pradesh in quick successions. Thus, good rains are going on in many parts of Madhya Pradesh for the last many days now.

In a span of 24 hours, from 8:30 am on Saturday, Khandwa has recorded 64 mm of rainfall, followed by Betul 34.4 mm and Bhopal 25.5 mm of rainfall.

According to our meteorologists, the Cyclonic Circulation over Northeast Madhya Pradesh is moving northwestwards. In the wake of this movement, light to moderate rain and thundershowers would continue in many parts of the state for another 48 hours.

Places like Shahdol, Anuppur, Jabalpur, Rewa, Bhopal, Indore, Tikamgarh, Guna, Gwalior, Bhind, Morena and Dewas are likely to get light to moderate rains for the next two days.

Meanwhile, another weather system is developing over North Andhra Pradesh and adjoining West Central Bay of Bengal. This system would intensify and move towards Madhya Pradesh, thus bringing in more rains for the state.

Due to continuous amount of rainfall, the moisture has increased in the atmosphere coupled with cloudy sky conditions. As more showers are coming up, the temperatures would further subside and make the weather pleasant for the residents.

Moreover, all these weather conditions are beneficial from an agriculture point of view.

The good amount of rainfall has helped West Madhya Pradesh to become rain surplus by 37%, while East Madhya Pradesh by 2%. As more showers would lash the state, this surplus would only get better.
