Monsoon will continue to remain active over Uttar Pradesh, north Chhattisgarh, north Madhya Pradesh, gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand. It is also expected to be active over West coast and northeastern states.
Rain is expected to increase over southwest Uttar Pradesh, north and west Madhya Pradesh and adjoining east Rajasthan. There would also be moderate rain in Jharkhand, Uttarakhand parts of north Orissa and northeast states. Rest of central India will receive light rain except Kutch of Gujarat.
Meanwhile, the weather in Delhi is going to remain the same as forecasters have not predicted much rain in the city. Though short spells of rain may occur in parts of the capital, it would not be enough to give you relief from the heat and high humidity levels. Temperature in the city will remain near normal. Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab and Haryana may expect light rain in some parts.
Rain will remain subdued over southern peninsula except Kerala and parts of Karnataka which may receive moderate rain.
