An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale shook the northeastern state of Assam today. The moderate-intensity quake was reported around 2.52 pm (IST) and its intensity was felt in entire Northeast India.
The epicentre of the quake was 64 km northeast of Bomdila in district East Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, there hasn't been any casualties reported from the region.
