Presently, dry and warm weather is being prevalent over the entire Maharashtra. So much so that, maximum temperatures have been settling above the normal by 2 to 3 degrees over Vidarbha and remaining parts of Maharashtra.

For instance, the city of dreams, Mumbai recorded a maximum of 32.6°C, which is two degrees above the normal. In the same way, Nashik registered a maximum of 32.2°C, which is again two degrees above the normal.
The city of Akola recorded a day maximum of 35°C and Nagpur 33.4°, which is three degrees above the normal.

On the other hand, the minimum temperatures have increased marginally, however is still settling below the normal over Vidarbha, Marathwada and South Madhya Maharashtra. Cities such as Ahmednagar, Beed, Gondia, Parbhani and Ratnagiri have been recording night temperatures below the normal level.
As per Skymet Weather, we expect marginal rise in minimum temperatures over many parts of the state after 24 hours. In fact, there are possibilities of light rain over South Konkan and Goa and South Madhya Maharashtra around February 6 and 7.
The sky condition is expected to remain partly cloudy to cloudy around February 5 to 8. This will eventually lead to marginal drop in maximum temperatures, bringing some respite from the prevalent warm weather conditions.
