The minimums of Maharashtra are witnessing a declining trend these days. The night temperatures have been settling few notches below the normal which is why the nights across most parts of the state have become cool.
In the last 24 hours also, the minimums dropped significantly, and a few districts of Maharashtra even saw the minimums curtailing by 4 to 5 degrees. Though this drop-in temperature was more in Vidarbha and Marathwada region of the state.
On the contrary, the districts in the Madhya Maharashtra and the coastal region of the state witnessed a marginal drop in the temperatures.

In the last 24 hours, the districts such as Gondia and Vengurla witnessed the minimums dropped by 5 degrees as compared with the normal. While the minimums dropped 4 degrees below the normal in Nagpur, Akola, Parbhani, Satara, Sangli, and Ratnagiri. Mumbai and Nashik witnessed a drop in the temperatures by 2 degrees each.

The reason for this drop-in temperature can be attributed to the absence of any significant weather system prevailing over the region. Moreover, cool northeasterly winds are also blowing over the region which is responsible for this significant drop in the temperatures.
As per Skymet Weather, for the next 2-3 days, no change is anticipated in the weather conditions across the state. Hence, for the next 2-3 days, the days in parts of Maharashtra will continue to remain comfortable and nights will remain pleasant and cool.
