The good news is that Delhi and the adjoining areas like Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad will get a chance to witness rains for another 2-3 days.

In a span of 24 hours, from 08:30 am as on Tuesday, the Safdarjung Observatory in Delhi recorded 24.7 mm of rains, the Lodhi Road Observatory witnessed 48.8 mm of rains, Ayanagar Observatory recorded 25.6 mm while during the similar time frame, the Palam Observatory witnessed 11 mm of showers.

The reason for the return of Delhi rains as per Skymet Weather can be attributed to a trough that is passing from Punjab to northwest Bay of Bengal across the center of a low-pressure area over East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal.

Besides this, the Western Disturbance has also started affecting Jammu and Kashmir. All these weather systems combined will lead the to the commencement of rainy spells over Delhi-NCR.

Moreover, Skymet Weather further reiterates that rains though light and patchy in nature are expected to continue over Delhi including over the adjoining districts such as Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad.

For the next few days, sky conditions would remain mainly cloudy, returning of comfortable weather conditions over the city.
