Earthquake hits Haryana, Tremors in Delhi

Around 120 kms from Delhi and NCR, in the state of Haryana, laid the epicenter of a medium sized earthquake that hit the state on Monday afternoon. The magnitude of this earthquake was 3.5 on the Richter scale.

According to the National Centre for Seismology, a unit of Ministry of Earth Science, the place the earthquake stated was Mahendragarh. The quake occurred around 3 o’clock on Monday afternoon at a depth of 10 kms.

Around 11 o’ clock today morning a medium intensity earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale hit capital city of Nagaland.

As the intensity of earthquake was low and the depth was shallow, only tremors were felt. Such types of earthquakes usually do not report any damage to life or property.
