Thus, the weather during the day has been sunny and warm. However, dry and comparatively cool northwesterly winds are blowing over the capital which is taking the punch out of the heat.

As per Skymet Weather, dry, warm and sunny weather along with windy conditions are expected to prevail throughout the remaining days of March over Delhi and adjoining regions of Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad.

However, with the continuous dry spell, the situation is favourable for the gradual rise in maximum temperatures of 2 to 3 degrees. As on March 25, the maximum temperatures in Safdarjung observatory settled at 32.5°C and the minimum temperature settled at 19.5°C.

The temperatures are not likely to shoot up immediately, but towards April, the day maximum temperatures would start settling between 34°C to 37°C. However, a ray of hope for Delhiites would be that due to windy conditions, Delhiites will not feel the scorching summer heat.

While the maximums temperatures are likely to witness some change, the minimum temperatures may witness a marginal alteration.
