The Cyclonic Circulation which had developed initially, lasted almost two days, and gave heavy rains over Maharashtra, parts of Telangana, and even Madhya Pradesh. The system is now moving eastwards. Parts of Gujarat, South Rajasthan and Maharashtra have even seen some flooding rains due to the previous Monsoon system.
Close on the heels, there is a Cyclonic Circulation off a low Pressure area over Odisha and adjoining North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The convergence zone of this system is going far deep into the central parts, covering Vidarbha, and Marathwada.
Thus, for the next 24 hours, along with Maharashtra, Telangana can also see some heavy rains. Today, some heavy rains are expected over many parts of Maharashtra. Cities of Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Washim, Gondia, Nagpur, Amravati saw heavy rains and may see some more rains today and tomorrow.
Tomorrow, Madhya Maharashtra may see some rains including Jalgaon, Dhule, Nandurbar, Ahmednagar, Nashik and even Pune. Coastal parts of Maharashtra may also see some rains.
