Madhya Pradesh too special for Monsoon 2016, rains to continue

At present, it is the central India that has been receiving good and hefty rain. Due to one after another weather systems continuously pounding the region with good rain, most of the central India which includes Madhya Pradesh is enjoining excess rain.

At present, the axis of Monsoon trough is passing though Firozpur, Hisar, Gwalior, Khajuraho, and then Bhubaneswar to East-central Bay of Bengal.

The upper-air cyclonic circulation is at present hovering over East Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas.

In the last 24 hours Madhya Pradesh has received fairly widespread rain with few heavy spells were recorded in some places of the state. Like Guna has received 64 mm of rain in last 21 hours. It is the Central & East Madhya Pradesh that has received good rain at many places

The incessant rainfall will continue over Madhya Pradesh mainly over Central & Eastern parts during next 24 hour and it is likely that the Monsoon rain belt will shift gradually towards West.

During this, the intensity of rain will be of moderate to heavy and the rain spell is likely at some parts of Central Madhya Pradesh and Southwest parts of Madhya Pradesh.

As of now the Madhya Pradesh is most rainfall excess place in India. East Madhya Pradesh is rainfall excess by 51% whereas West Madhya Pradesh is rainfall excess by 48%.
