The weather of Central India remained almost dry during the last 24 hours. And, in the wake of dry weather, along with bright sunshine, the day temperatures of Madhya Pradesh, as well as, Chhattisgarh increased by one to two degrees Celsius.
Now, a trough is extending from Bihar up to Karnataka across Chhattisgarh, and Vidarbha. Also, a cyclonic circulation is persisting over Rajasthan and adjoining areas.
Today, we do not expect any significant weather activity over the central parts of the country. But from tomorrow onwards, there are chances of light rain and thundershower activities at a few places over the western parts of Madhya Pradesh, adjoining East Rajasthan, as well as over parts of Vidarbha.
On March 25 also, there are chances for these ongoing rains to continue in Central India. One or two intense spells of rain may also occur over parts of the Vidarbha region. Isolated rains are also likely over Madhya Maharashtra, including a few parts of Marathwada. The weather of Konkan and Goa are, however, expected to remain dry throughout.
These rains will also cover eastern parts of Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, and the Vidarbha region until March 26 or March 27.
The moisture incursion will also take place from the Arabian Sea. On and off WD's will also continue to induce cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan that will gradually travel towards East Rajasthan leading to a rise in the weather activities marginally over east Rajasthan and western parts of Madhya Pradesh. Northeast Madhya Pradesh and East Madhya Pradesh are expected to observe isolated rain activities only.
The weather of Chhattisgarh will largely remain dry during this period. So, these pre-monsoon activities will continue for the next three to four days.
Also, there might be a marginal drop in the temperatures over the eastern parts of Rajasthan, as well as, in West Madhya Pradesh during the episode of this rainy spell.
