Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to soon see a spell of rain January 27 onward

Dry weather conditions are prevailing over Central parts of the country during the last couple of days. At present, most parts of Central India are witnessing cold mornings along with shallow fog and mist. Days are pleasant with a mainly sunny sky. Similar weather conditions are likely to prevail during the next 48 hours.

Thereafter, northern parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are likely to experience spells of rain and thundershower along with gusty winds on January 27 and 28. Places like Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Datia, Sheopur, Shivpuri, etc. are likely to experience these spells of rains.

These weather conditions will be occurring under the influence of a Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir and its associated induced Cyclonic Circulation over Rajasthan region.

While other parts of Central India are likely to remain dry. Night will remain mainly cool and pleasant. Day will remain comfortable.

The northern parts will see more clouding as compared to southern parts of Central India between January 27 to 28.

The northern parts of the Chhattisgarh and adjoining parts of East Madhya Pradesh will see a fall in night temperatures during the next 24 to 36 hours. Thereafter, these temperatures are likely to increase as the Western Disturbance will be moving East-northeastwards and affecting northern parts of Madhya Pradesh.

These rains would be quite beneficial for the ongoing Rabi crops like mustard, wheat, gram and peas etc.
