Pre monsoon season of 2023 is turning out to be very good for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Between March 1 and April 6, Chhattisgarh has received 301% excess rainfall. On the other hand, west Madhya Pradesh is surplus by 303% and East Madhya Pradesh by 141%.

A cyclonic circulation is over Chhattisgarh and adjoining parts of Odisha and another cyclonic circulation is over North interior Karnataka. A trough is extending from south Central Madhya Pradesh to south interior Karnataka. This weather systems how will be responsible for rain and thunderstorm.
