Delhi weather saw a welcome change with rains making an appearance over many parts of the national capital as well as the NCR region. While rainfall activity has seen some reduction today, there is likelihood of some heavy spells of rains during the upcoming weekend.
Rainfall activity is expected to be seen between July 17 and 19, wherein heavier spells of rains will also be observed. However, rainfall activity will see its peak on July 18. These rains will not be like the previous spell, the weather activity will be widespread in nature, covering the capital.
Delhi initially had been observing deficit rainfall, with the deficit being at around 65 percent. Moreover, all the nine districts of Delhi were deficient. However, with the rains in the previous 24 hours, the deficit has reduced from a 65 percent to a 56 percent.
Today and tomorrow, not much weather activity is expected to be seen. However, rains will pick up speed once again around July 17 and activities are likely to be observed around this time. July 18 will be the day wherein the rains will be at its heaviest, causing all sorts of commute problems.
Fortunately, July 18 being a Sunday, office goers will not have to go through travel troubles on that particular day. These rain activities may even cover the deficiency over most of the national capital and help the figures go closer to the positive side.
