Depression over Bay of Bengal (BoB) , which earlier weakened to a well marked low pressure has further downgraded to a mere cyclonic circulation marked over North Coastal Tamil Nadu and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh. It is likely to spread in area covering more parts of Tamil Nadu and also become further mild. It is expected to flatten by tomorrow over interiors of South Peninsula. Later, the remnant of this system will move over Arabian Sea, heading away from the coastline.
Low pressure area resulted light to moderate showers yesterday, over Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka and North Tamil Nadu. Similar weather activity is expected over these parts in the next 48hr. Light to moderate rains will extend to cover state of Kerala for the next few days. Entire South Peninsula will observe nearly similar weather conditions with partial cloud cover and scattered light rains. No heavy weather activity is likely anywhere over this region.
Another cyclonic circulation is likely to come up over North Andaman Sea by tomorrow. However, this feature will neither intensify much nor reach anywhere near the east coast. Feeble cyclonic circulation or weak easterly waves will keep moving east to west, in the equatorial latitudes. Remaining days of November will remain free from any significant weather activity. Northeast monsoon will be more or less dormant over most parts of South India from 25th Nov onward.
