As reiterated, a Cyclonic Circulation has already formed in the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal and is expected to intensify even further. The system is likely to become a Low Pressure Area by either tonight or tomorrow morning.
The system is expected to see further intensification and may become a well marked low and a depression subsequently. Since the system in close proximity of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, heavy to very heavy rains are expected over Bay Islands including Port Bliar, Hut Bay, Long Island, Car Nicobar etc for at least the next two to three days or so.
