Low pressure forming in Arabian Sea may cause unseasonal rains in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra

A Cyclonic Circulation will form over Southeast Arabian Sea during the next 24 hours and under its influence a Low Pressure Area may form. This low pressure area will move in the northwest direction and will reach the Middle East Arabian Sea. From this area of ​​pressure, a low pressure line may develop up to western parts of Gujarat across Northeast Arabian Sea.

Light rain is likely to start over the coastal areas of Maharashtra from 29th November and the rain activities are likely to increase till 30th November. At that time rain is possible in districts like Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Mumbai, Pune, Nashik and Jalgaon etc.

Between November and December 1, rain is possible in the west and southwest of Madhya Pradesh including the southern districts of Gujarat. Districts like Surat, Valsad, Bhavnagar, Panchmahal in Gujarat and Dhar, Khandwa, Khargone, Betul, Indore and Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh may be affected.

The rain activities over Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh will remain light and it is also possible at one or two places. Light to moderate rain is also likely over Mumbai and its adjoining areas. These unseasonal rain activities are likely to occur between November 29 and December 1, after which the weather of all these states will once again become dry.
