The low pressure area that formed over southeast Bay of Bengal may intensify into a depression in the next 48 hours and gradually into a deep-depression. There is probability of formation of a cyclonic storm by 12th of May under the aegis of these weather developments. If the storm develops, it may affect coastal areas of Tamil Nadu or Andhra Pradesh along the east coast.
